Delegation Northwest

The Delegation Northwest is an independent division within the Engineering Azierta which operates in the area of Galicia and Asturias.

The Group's presence in north-western of the peninsula has been ongoing for the past 20 years. Confidence that local clients have placed in the company throughout this period has helped to maintain a qualified team who gave and continue to give coverage to the wide variety of contracts developed during these decades.

In the seventies, public works begin experiencing a boom not known in previous years. Due to that, the country experience modernization and adaptation according to the European models, important changes in the way of managing a controlling the projects occur. Until that time, the execution control was conducted by internal resources of personal of public administrations. In that decade the civil engineering consulting firms began to perform the controlling and supervision of works, through whole teams of civil engineers, construction inspectors, surveyors and assistants, as well as laboratory equipment.

It was in those years when we created the seed of what is now the Northwest delegation, by setting up a technical team and civil works lab, with the former name of Geoteyco, SA, which gave service to the contracts of technical assistance to the management of road works framed in the newly released "Access Plan of Galicia".

Since those years and thanks to the deep knowledge in the implementation of linear projects, from the control of laboratory to the drafting of projects, we maintained the accounts of our classic customers and incorporated new ones. This allowed, in 2005, the creation of the Northwest delegation, as a new division of the parent company, headquartered in the city of A Coruña with offices in several locations, in order to give a quick response, direct, proximity and quality in all services.
