Real Madrid CF’s Sports City (Spain)

“One of the greatest development projects in history”

Real Madrid may boast of having the best sports premises in the world at Valdebebas’ Sports City, a complex that was opened in September 30th 2005.

2,637 acres of land, a surface of 1,200,000 m2, is the total size of the land owned by Real Madrid in Valdebebas.

Azierta has worked in its construction by providing the technical services for the writing of the geotechnical surveys for the different construction stages of the Sports City, including the soccer fields and the different buildings in the project.

The project is still under development. 300,000 square meters out of a total of 1,200,000 square meters have been developed so far. Currently, the Sports City boasts medical premises and training facilities for all its soccer teams, the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium, which is where Real Madrid Castilla – the minor league affiliate – plays its games, the residence of the main team or the television studios of Real Madrid TV.
