Technical characteristics

Water is taken directly from the Drenova reservoir and then taken through the existing collector to the inlet collection tank where data are collected and analyzed. From the inlet collection tank water is taken to an aeration tank though an underground passage with a motorized sluice. Following a filtering process, water then flows into an oxidation tank, settling tank and finally before distribution water is chlorinated to a safe level for consumption. The plant’s output is 100 l/s, or 360 m3/h.
